A bicycle cup holder is exactly what it sounds like. While the idea of a cup holder on a bicycle is by no means a new concept, recent developments in the field have certainly warranted a second look at the evergrowing market for these accessories.

In the past, a cup holder on a bicycle was a fairly straightforward design that mounted on a bicycle in a pretty intrusive way. Normally screws would have to be driven through the frame, permanently disfiguring it, and sometimes even drilling was involved. For that matter, the cup holders themselves were by no means advanced. They would normally be fashioned out of flimsy plastic or low-grade metal that normally didn’t insulate the liquid and often didn’t provide the protection needed for the drink in question.
